Systems problems at CBP resolved
Dear Stakeholder Association / Organizations,
Our Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) is back on line. The following message was just posted reporting that “All issues are now resolved and systems are working as expected.”

CBP personnel were experiencing internal systems issues which may have resulted in ports
operating under downtime procedures.
We were also receiving reports from the trade of issues regarding delays in processing of EDI messages.
All issues are now resolved and systems are working as expected.”

Subject: National CBP System Outage - Downtime Procedures May Be Implemented
Dear Stakeholder Association / Organizations.
CBP personnel are experiencing internal systems issues which may result in ports operating under downtime procedures.
CBP is also receiving reports from the trade of issues with the processing of EDI messages.
CBP technical personnel are aware of the reports and are working to identify and resolve the issues.
We are unable to transmit CSMS messaging at this time, but will endeavor to provide updated information as it is available.
